In this tutorial you will learn how to create an abstract blast of colours using simple filter techniques with Adobe Photoshop.

Step1: Create a new document in Adobe photoshop 350 pixels width / 350 pixels height. Press D on your keyboard, and then go to filter > render > clouds, and you should have something like the image below:

Step2: When you have completed Step1 now go to Filter > Pixelate > Mezzotint , And have the type as short strokes. When you have done that now go to Filter>Blur>Radial Blur and set the blur method to Zoom, and the quality set to best, with the amount set to 100, and do this 2 times; Then you should have something like the following image below:

Step3: Now go to Filter>Disort>Twirl and play around with the settings until you have something you like, When you have done that duplicate the layer and flip it horizontaly whilst setting the blending mode to lighten. You can then play around with the Hue/Saturation by pressing CTRL+U on your keyboard and a dialog box should come up as shown below:

Instead of just chaning one of the duplicated layers Hue/Saturation, give both layers a different colour and the outcome is amazing, you should have a nice colourfull abstract blast as shown below:
